They must be focused on offering the best, straightforward service to a wide range of clients, with a commercial and professional approach at all times. The successful candidates will need to ensure that CPD points are obtained and properly recorded, and ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and the SRA Code of Conduct. In addition, the successful candidates will need to have good financial control with particular regard to cash flow control through accurate time-recording, collection of monies on account and billing procedures. Commercial Property Solicitor

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Property Solicitor with 3 years’ plus post qualification experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad caseload advising veterinary practices, farmers and SMEs. They will be required to take a lead role in the growth and success of the property department and will be responsible for all aspects of commercial conveyancing including sales and purchases of properties and businesses, mortgages and re-financing, landlord and tenant matters including grant and assignment of leases, lease renewals, licenses to assign and to alter and SIPPS. The successful candidate will need to have a clear understanding of commercial banking documents, such as debentures and personal guarantees. We are looking for someone who is seeking career progression and is keen to lead and grow a department.

Employment Law Solicitor

We are seeking an exceptional Employment Law Solicitor with at least 3-6 years PQE working in a high quality and driven environment. You will be providing practical advice to employers and employees on a broad range of employment law issues which may include grievance, disciplinary and dismissals, redundancy, corporate re-structuring and TUPE. You will also be required to assist our busy corporate department in dealing with the employment aspects of share and business sales. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress their career.  Our current employment law team consists of an Employment Law Partner, assisted by a Senior Associate and Trainee Solicitor.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience of managing your own caseload, and in particular handling litigation cases from conception to completion;
  • Superior drafting and writing skills, coupled with an excellent ability to communicate;
  • An aptitude for business development is encouraged as we wish to expand this department;
  • You must possess relevant and up-to-date employment law knowledge;
  • You must be professional and able to work with autonomy and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail;
  • You must be able to effectively manage your time to handle a number of cases to meet clients’ needs.

Corporate Solicitor

We require an experienced Corporate Solicitor with at 3 years’ experience who is skilled in offering the best, straightforward advice to a wide range of clients, with a commercial and professional approach at all times.

The firm can offer flexibility with a fantastic working environment and superb quality of complex work. You will be responsible for a broad caseload including shareholders agreements, commercial contracts, corporate sales, partnership and LLP agreements, bank funding and general commercial work.

You will need to ensure that CPD points are obtained and properly recorded, ensure compliance with SAR, SRA Code of Conduct and promptly advise the Managing Partner of any matters of concern.
